About

Hi, I’m Matt—a video game sound designer based in New York.

I basically grew up with a controller in hand, so saying I’m passionate about games might be a bit of an understatement. Through playing, I discovered my love for sound design and dove headfirst into learning the craft. From there, I quickly gained hands-on experience designing and implementing audio for games.

I started with game jams and moved into freelance work with small indie teams. I’ve since become co-audio lead on Branching Sickness, a high-profile Halo fan project, and contributed outsourced sound design for Supervive by Theorycraft Games. In my spare time, I’m also developing my own game in Unreal Engine 5, and I’m very comfortable working with Blueprints and audio implementation.
